Ryan Agre is Vice President of Finance and Family Office at Vermeer Corporation, a global manufacturer that delivers a real impact on the way important work gets done through the manufacture of high-quality industrial and agricultural equipment backed by localized service and support. Ryan plays a critical role in leading merger & acquisition activity, various finance functions including accounting, treasury, Vermeer credit and shared services, as well as the global tax team. In addition, he serves as the primary conduit between the family shareholders and the company concerning governance, education, communication and next generation development. Ryan’s joint position with the Vermeer family and on the executive team of Vermeer enhances his ability to provide valuable insights to stakeholders regarding day-to-day business operations. Prior to this, Ryan served as the Senior Director, Finance & Family Office as well as the a Corporate Development Manager. Before joining Vermeer in 2011, Ryan held the following roles at Pella Corporation: Interim Family Office Director, Corporate Development Manager and Internal Audit Manager from 2001-2010. He was a Senior Auditor at Eide Bailly LLP from 1998-2001. Ryan graduated with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. He graduated with an MBA in Finance from the University of MN Carlson School of Management. Ryan received his Juris Doctorate (law degree) from Drake University. He also studied abroad during graduate school at the University of Vienna, Austria. Ryan is married to Marcy and have three wonderful children. He enjoys spending as much time in creation as possible with his family.
