Amy Weisenbarger

Business Council Chair and 5th Generation Family Member
Rogers Group, Inc.
Amy is a proud 5th generation family member of Rogers Group, Inc., the largest family-owned construction aggregate (graded stone, sand and gravel) business in the United States. She was the first elected 5th generation chair for both the Family Council as well as the Business Council, where she currently serves. In her role as Family Council chair, she led the development of the first Rechter Family Constitution in 2018. In her time with the Rechter family’s Business Council, she has overseen the evolution of the family business board structure and advocated for increasing G5 integration into family related roles. Amy has had a 15+ year career in healthcare marketing and currently works for Humana in Louisville, KY as a Marketing Director. She received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and holds a master’s degree in international commerce and diplomacy from the University of Kentucky’s Patterson School. Outside of work, she sits on the board of directors for Kentucky’s Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and enjoys traveling, yoga and going to see live music. Her biggest joy though is her role as Mom to children, Anna (12) and Clark (9) with her husband Seth. She hopes that her work within the Rechter family’s governance keeps Rogers Group strong for her children and many generations to come.
